So I just finished the second book in the Outlander series: Dragonfly in Amber by Diana Gabaldon. And it was amazing! I was going to do a booktalk but the book is 900+ pages and will take me a good year to write out all the detail I would go into. So instead here is another book tag: the seven deadly sins book tag.
GREED—What is your most inexpensive book? What is your most expensive book?
The most inexpensive book I own is a Virginia Andrews book (that I cannot remember the name of) that was only $2. So I brought all five in the series for only $10. The most expensive book is, I believe, my twentieth anniversary edition of Outlander which was like $50, maybe?
WRATH—What author do you have a love/hate relationship with?
Definitely Veronica Roth. I loved her and then she went and did . . . that, and it was not okay.
GLUTTONY—What book have you deliciously devoured over and over with no shame whatsoever?
Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone by J.K.Rowling. I re-read it every now and then because I love it so much. And I will be re-reading it yet again in October because I brought the special illustrated version to peruse and enjoy.
SLOTH—What book have you neglected reading due to laziness?
Uglies by Scott Westerfeld. I have owned it now for about 2 and a half years . . . I’ve had too little motivation to read this and it remains on my shelf.
PRIDE—What book do you most talk about in order to sound like a very intellectual reader?
Usually either To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee or a Jodi Piccoult book. Usually though I’m not trying to sound intellectual because I just want people to read the books I love more than anything.
LUST—What attributes do you find most attractive in male or female characters?
I love the Peeta and Jem type characters in novels. I just love when they are so kind and compassionate. I also love when they’re funny and sarcastic and it’s even better when they’re really good fighters.
ENVY—What books would you most like to receive as a gift?
At the moment it would be Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children or the Mara Dyer series. I’ve been wanted to read them for ages but haven’t gotten around to reading them, sadly.
Alright so that is it for the seven deadly sins book tag. Feel free to comment your answers down below.
